Finger bowl - Various table accessories

In earthenware, porcelain or metal, the finger rinse is a small bowl filled with "warm water in which the guest can rinse his fingers during a meal.

Finger rinses are essential if you serve seafood, shellfish, shrimp or crawfish, also asparagus, artichokes with vinaigrette or corn cobs. They are placed on the table to the left of the plate when the dish is finished because the water must be warm.

For refinement, you can add a few drops of lemon, mint leaves and even flower petals... Another interesting idea: place a few pebbles at the bottom of the finger rinse.
