A toilet flush is a mechanism for removing wastewater from a toilet bowl or urinal. It usually consists of a water tank located at the top and a trigger mechanism (push-button, pull, lever, etc.) that allows to release the water in the bowl to evacuate the waste.

Flushes can be single or dual control to save water. There are many manufacturers of flushes, including Geberit, Grohe, Ideal Standard, Villeroy & Boch, and Duravit.

Conventional flush tanks contain between 6 (newer) and 20 (older) litres of potable water.
