Established in France in 1824, Braquenié is specialised in French 18th and 19th century prints. This jewel of our textile heritage is unique in the world. Under this brand, documents from the company's extensive archives, which include part of the collection handed down from the Manufacture royale de Jouy (18th century), are periodically republished. BRAQUENIE is also famous for its extensive collection of rugs and carpets in unique designs; they are still used in palaces dating from the Second Empire, as well as public buildings erected by the various French Republics, including the present one. Braquenié is currently expanding its Rug and Carpet Department to offer exclusive, very "haute couture" models (designs, colours and dimensions) for a demanding clientele.
