Coquecigrues

The word "Coquecigrues" was born under the pen of the writter Rabelais around 1534; this "Poetry" evokes all the dreams inside us. In 1792, those "Coquecigrues", mythical creatures, half insect, half bird, reappear in one of the famous Toile de Jouy motivs. Our eponym company creates small pieces of furniture, lamps, curtains, embroidered textiles in this famous XVIIIth style in which everyone can find inspiration and memories of the past, one and of item, fruit of a constantly evolving creations. The "revisited past", in our homes and gardens.
