Karawan authentic revisits the Silk Roads through exclusive creations surrounding the universe of the bath and hospitality Industry. Enhancing the value of natural ingredients and handicrafts coming from the best oriental traditions, Karawan is involved in an approach of united economy and sustainable development through the creation of its channels in Morocco, India, Turkey, Syria and Vietnam. Karawan also acts for the development of the local economy of the Rhone Alpes ' area, thanks to partnerships with various companies implementing the same values. > Oriental soaps & hammam products > Simple cosmetics, created from natural ingredients or certified organic products, rich in active ingredients, vegetable oils, essential oils, salts, clay... which have proven their effects in the rituals of oriental care whilst respecting todays traceability requirements. > Luxury, beauty accessories & hospitality items. > The conception of our products and their manufacturing process are made in cooperation with organizations of small producers with the ethos of social promotion and innovation. A textile cooperative of women in Morocco; a network of workshops for the insertion of disabled people and ethnic minorities in Vietnam all organized by NGOs. > The development of common and economic activities is aimed at facilitating the integration of marginalized populations, providing training courses and increasing the sharing of experiences. Thanks to a process of creation, of transmission and transfer of skills, we create a unique guarantee of economic and sustainable development. > Karawan helps with the internal structure of a producer to aim towards quality and innovation and works in partnership with NGOs and local governmental entities. > Our choices for packaging are heading towards lightness and recycled materials. We chose local subcontractors, cardboard makers and printers working in the (Rhône Alpes) region and certified FSP or PEFC > The shipping of our products, made through sea way or river routes, limits the carbon impact/ print. > Member of the NEF , a financial cooperative for solidarity funds.
