GRAVITI ZONE RUGS attract you like a force of gravity, making you instantly lie down and bury your naked feet in the wool, while you rest. They are a part of your home, almost a new member of the family. They make themselves comfortable at your house, like a cat on a sofa and they make any room cozy and appealing. At GRAVITI ZONE RUGS we reflect our own gravity zone in the rugs of our first Collection. To achieve it, we have gathered a group of European Designers: young, daring, creative with no boundaries and a different understanding of life. They have all designed for many years, but this is the first time they show their point of view of the world in a rug. And so GRASS was born, the fresh blades that invite you to lie down; AFRICANA, an image of a journey along the African continent; and GOTA, the force of gravity translated into wool. However, we also manufacture customized designs, so that you can have the rug that best suites your style and space. Enjoy our first collection and get ready for our upcoming designs, because we still have a lot to show. GRAVITI ZONE RUGS was founded by Mónica Ibáñez, at the beginning of 2008. The company was presented for the first time at the ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) in New York, in May 2008. To celebrate ICFF's 20th Anniversary, BERGDORF GOODMAN, in collaboration with WALLPAPER* featured our AFRICANA rug at an installation at BERGDORF GOODMAN in its 5th Avenue Store, New York. Our GRASS rug was awarded with a Merit at the Best of the Year Awards 2008 of the Interior Design magazine. Mónica works with a group of young designers. They all share their passion for textiles and design and are willing to communicate all their thoughts and ideas to the rest of the world. Quality and design are what matters to GRAVITI ZONE RUGS.
