    Pelham Galleries London

    Activité : Antique dealer
Established in 1928, Pelham Galleries has long been one of London's major sources for Antique Furniture and Works of Art. We specialise in pieces of the very highest calibre and supply many of the world's major museums and private collections. We are also able to advise on all aspects of collecting and interior design. In 2004 we opened a space in Paris at 42, Rue de Varenne, in the same building as the long-established Galerie Etienne Lévy, with whom we have been successfully collaborating for many years. Following the recent expansion of these Paris premises, we have now closed our London showrooms as of July 2006. Visitors to the elegant galleries of PELHAM PARIS will find regularly changing displays of the finest 18th- and 19th- century French, English and other European Furniture, with an emphasis on pieces of rare design; Clocks, Chandeliers and rare Objets d'Art; European and Oriental Lacquer Furniture and Screens; Architectural Decorations and Tapestries; 18th century Harpsichords, Organs, Fortepianos and other rare musical instruments. We will continue to maintain a London office in Berkeley Square, Mayfair, where staff will be delighted to provide information and discuss specific requirements or offer advice. We will also continue to be present at the leading international art and antiques fairs, including Maastricht, the Paris Biennale, Grosvenor House and the New York Armory Show. Finally, a large selection of our stock can be viewed on the following pages, and we encourage visitors to return and browse frequently as the site is updated on a regular basis. Alan Rubin, Director
