Fine French Furniture from the Workshop of Allot Freres Allot Freres produces unique pieces of luxury period furniture for some of the world's finest homes. Each piece is made by hand, using the finest woods and fabrics, following a family tradition that started seven generations ago, and is a masterwork of craftsmanship, quality and style. Our atelier, first established in 1812 in Brittany, is today the only remaining workshop in France specializing in the eight traditional trades involved in fine furniture making'furniture woodworking, chair woodworking, cabinet making, wood carving, lacquering, gilding, finishing and upholstery. Our craftsmen won the Living Heritage Enterprise award in 2006, granted by the French Government. We offer over 600 pieces of distinctive furniture in the Regency, Louis XV or Empire styles. You may choose from a lacquer or 22-carat gold leaf finish, or precious wood inlay, and from a range of fabrics from damask to silk brocade. Every piece carries the Allot seal and is guaranteed to be of the highest quality. Allot Freres' upholsterers, wood carvers and fine furniture craftsmen strictly adhere to traditional techniques. Each piece is unique and destined to become an heirloom.
