Declercq Passementiers history began in 1852 with a tiny maker of passementerie. Generations of passementiers inedits is transmitting the traditions of a craft become rare. Declercq trimmings has never ceased to produce high quality trimmings. The company has always known how to preserve ancestral techniques of the trimmings, while innovating constantly. In the pageant, as in the creation for contemporary decoration, Declercq Passementiers has emerged as one of the pillars of this craft. Elisa Declercq leads with talent production plants, where 80% of the articles are entirely hand-made. Weavers, retordeurs, small hands, long fingers that shape, spin, embroider, meet, create braids, fringes, jasmines, acorns, cartisanes and other sea.

This year, Declercq plays with light and optical fiber. We are proud to present the first light trimmings, a stunning innovation developed with Design Percept, which allows to illuminate fringes, ropes or tiebacks, and to create incredible curtains and magic atmospheres. And of course, the most beautiful classic or contemporary trimmings, thanks to our unique know-how. Prestigious new furnishing fabrics (silk or cotton velvet, embroidered fabrics, lampas, damas) matching perfectly with our « passementeries ».
