Born in 1999, London-based Innermost gives familiar shapes a new twist and introduces innovative contemporary lighting fixtures, furniture and living accessories to the modern home. They approach their products with a focus on quality and wit, providing the homeowner with a diverse, often off-kilter, modern design collection that showcases the creative talents of a multi-national design team. From table clocks to entire lighting collections, Innermost supplies the modern home with creatively contemporary style. Blending the borders between jewelry fashion and lighting design, Innermost creative stylist Winnie Lui developed the Beads Pendant--a great example of how Innermost has stretched the "design tent" to include many genres. Highlighting the designer's panache as a silversmith, the Beads Pendant fuses identical metallic elements into one stunning fixture. Spun steel and polycarbonate are finished boldly for a shining lighting statement. Another Innermost production, The Clinker Collection (designed by Rich Brilliant Willing) is a well-rounded collection with edgy personality. Composed of seemingly random cuts of wood slats, the Clinker offsets the typically flat contemporary landscape and tricks the eye for visual allure. The teak option is made using production offcuts and reclaimed material that originates from a managed source, reducing waste and adding character to an already fascinating design.
