Gervasoni

Gervasoni was established in 1882; it is based in Pavia di Udine, in the north- east of Italy and nowadays managed by the third generation of the Gervasoni family. The company covers an indoor area of 15.000 square meters on a total surface of more than 30.000 square meters and employs 70 people. Gervasoni produces high level furniture for both indoor and outdoor use supplying the residential and contract market, such as luxury hotels, restaurants and cruise ships. The collection is very wide as the use of various materials such as wood, rattan, bamboo, ceramic, woven polyethylene, aluminium. Upholstered furniture, lamps, home accessories and turn-key hotel projects also belong to Gervasoni Collections. Gervasoni cooperates with famous architects and designers such as Paola Navone, Marco Piva, Michael Sodeau and Simone Micheli. Supporting them in the research and combination of new materials which make of Gervasoni a world wide brand distributed in Italy and abroad (60% of the turnover is exported). Main pursue of the management is a manufacturing process taking care of the environment and preserving the ecosystem: the official acknowledgement was achieved in November 1999 obtaining the ?ISO 9001 ? Quality System and in March 2005 the ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System Compliance)? Certificates.
