First the egg is smoothed by sandpaper so that the surface is ready for the delicate ink transfer of graphics. Once the ink transfer has been applied, varnishing begins, absorbing between 10 and 14 days of manufacturing time and 40 -50 layers of Decoupage Varnish. When this is complete, the product is sprayed with a gloss varnish, giving the Decoupage Ostrich Egg its final shine. Our product range is extensive, ranging from an elaborate collection of ancient maps, to the full compliment of the animal kingdom. We also offer customised gift solutions for companies. Some themes that we have adopted are Restaurant Menus, Wedding photographs, and Corporate Business logos. The eggs are cleaned in a veterinary disinfectant and are authorised by the European customs for import and distribution.
