' Sussi e biribissi chandeliers are the result of an intuition, a research that brings us back to nature, to recover the past, recycling old italian handicraft items into modern, colourful, unique and precious objects. One of a kind chandeliers with their own strong, recognizable personality. Decorations are entirely handmade with precious, natural stones that, once enlightened, explode in all their nuances.   sussi e biribissi. what does that mean?   It comes from the combination of the names of the two main characters in a novel dating 1902 by Lorenzini, the nephew of the more famous Collodi.  Sussi and Biribissi, fascinated by the reading of the J.Vernes novel Journey to the center of the hearth, decide to take on the same adventure starting from Firenze' sewage system, accompanied by a bunch of improbable and funny speaking animals The first sussi e biribissi  chandelier was in fact born from the fervid imagination of two very good friends, hence the choice of the name for our creations.   PHILOSOPHY The research starts at second hand dealers and junkyards where, among dismissed old chandeliers, some are picked and chosen to be adopted and transformed for a glorious second chance. Colour is king. Precious stones, shades and shapes, and their arrangement make for a unique and extraordinary original effect.   Colour, shape, and the nature of the stones used in Sussiebiribissi chandeliers, result in precious and unique objects, still serving their original purpose. Colour, design and size combinations are infinite: each Sussiebiribissi is different from the other, and by any mean customizable upon request. Therefore each sussi e biribissi  is a unique piece, and each and every one has a distinct personality.
