Karen Swami, ceramist was initiated by Christa de Copet workshop of the clay Earth, then trained in shooting by Thierry Fouquet. Traditionally she is passionate for ceramics. It focuses on both the form and the material, she seeks above all the purity of the line, and is passionate about the Asian masters. Fascinated by the ceramics of the Musée Guimet, she constantly revisit forms and discover the mysteries. Karen Swami seeks to translate terracotta, the ephemeral beauty of the raw, fragile Earth constantly evolving. Porcelain, cookies, smoke-filled land, raku, his creations are all unique pieces.
