Magali Jeambrun has created a range of hand-made furniture with a neo-retro style. 100% french. Her main inspiration comes from the classical furniture from the French King-Louis XVI- period. For the makeover of seats, mirrors and wall consoles she has chosen to add her personal touch. She is passioned by materials and especially by plexiglass she uses as an elegant dress for wood structures : this plexiglas can be transparent, padding printed and so on... The cornerstone of her work is the mix between baroque and contemporaneous period : she likes reinterpreting traditional French manufacture by changing textures, materials, colors... Design is the topic, as Magali readapts the style with an obvious easiness, employing very sophisticated technics such as laser-cutting, engraving, sanding.
