For SOMNUK THAO, the essential humanity of space and object is the core of his experience and expression as a designer: "My mission, and my delight, is to reveal the beauty of the Human that resides at the heart of the best design." He finds and awakens the inherent movement hidden in every object. There are no static objects, each harbors within itself a spiritual polymorphism that has the potential to communicate unexpected ways of experiencing expected. "Quite simply, all objects of daily use have the obligation to be uniquely beautiful!" For me, the challenge is to put the power inherent in the finest design at the service of the client, not simply to produce an object or an environment. I measure my success to the degree to which my clients find their own place in an infinitely undulating landscape of uses, the principle at the core of all my design projects.
