This range of original handmade furniture in merrain has been created in 2005 by. ROLAND PONS. He imagines, designs, builds and sell himself each piece, in a very contemporary mind. The models are made of used and aged wood, coming from barrels having contained real French wine. Actually, merrain is the name for the best part of oak, sliced into quarters, used mostly for barrels. Wood is cleaned and prepared with specific Roland Pons' techniques to preserve forms, colors and veinage of this antic wood.
