Lussou
After finishing school Irène Lussou studied Art in a paris University. She worked for the numerous Parisian theatres, opera houses ans Museum of Natural History in Paris, also as a sculptress for the Cite of Science in Paris. The company Lussou was created in 2005 by the sculptress herself. Her creations are all unique pieces or limited editions. First sculpted in wax and then cast in bronze at various foundries around Paris and one in Germany dependant on the size of the creation. Her bronze statues are larger then life with an impressionable elegance, stature and presence. Materials used / terracotta, bronze wood, lianes, bronze patine in colour.

From 2000 the brand Maison de Vacances is personified by a couple. Like the Yin and the Yang, Emmanuelle Fouks and Nicolas Mauriac complete one another. Their former activities of fashion designer and art director easily explain how deep they are involved in the evolutions of fashion’s trend and lifestyles. « Dress up your interiors as you wanna be dressed up » could be their claim… For the first time they’ve creating together a home collection using the codes of fashion and breaking the standards of the luxury industry.  So as designers and managers they’ve decided to built a business model based on their conception of beauty, social, luxury, ecology and quality.
