Fish scaler - Cutting and Peeling

A scaler is an instrument or tool designed to remove scales from the skin of fish. The main objective of this tool is to facilitate the preparation of fish for cooking or consumption by removing scales, which can be unpleasant to eat and alter the texture of the fish flesh.

Scales are available in a variety of shapes and sizes, but most have common features. They usually feature a serrated blade or a rough surface specially designed to gently scrape the fish’s skin and remove scales. Some models also have an ergonomic handle for a comfortable and secure grip.
