Cold frame - Locks

Frame greenhouses are gardening structures that consist of a rigid metal, wood or PVC frame that supports a glazing material such as glass or plastic. Unlike right-sided greenhouses, frame greenhouses have sloped side walls and a sloping roof for better exposure to sunlight.

These greenhouses are generally smaller than traditional greenhouses and are often used by hobby gardeners to grow seedlings, vegetables and plants from seeds. Frame greenhouses can be used to extend the growing season or to protect plants from weather, insects and pests. They are also popular for growing exotic plants in cooler climates.
