Bialetti

Bialetti is an Italian company specialized in household articles and more specifically in products related to coffee preparation. Today famous for its Moka coffee maker, Bialetti also offers many other coffee machines as well as a wide range of accessories.    Founded in 1919 by Alfonso Bialetti in Crusinallo in Piedmont under the name Alfonso Bialetti & C., the company soon made a name for itself. Having a broad knowledge of the metalworking industry, especially aluminium, Alfonso Bialetti designed in 1933 a revolutionary invention that is still widely used today: the Moka coffee maker, also known as the Moka Express, the macchinetta or caffettiera, making his company famous for its ease of use and its Art Deco look. In addition to Bialetti's inventiveness, he was one of the pioneers in the use of aluminium as a material for the production of household items.    Subsequently, and thanks in particular to the ambition of his son Renato, Bialetti quickly became one of the leaders in the production of Italian coffee makers. It was with this intention that the logo of the "Little Man with the Moustache" appeared under the guise of Paul Campani in 1958 during a major advertising campaign, becoming the symbol of Bialetti. In 1998 the company merged with Rondine to become Bialetti Industrie and in the following years other industrialists joined the company.    Today Bialetti is internationally recognized for its innovative products, designs and practices. Thus, in 2006 is launched the Bialetti Store in order to sell their products in physical stores. In addition to the well-known Moka coffee maker, Bialetti also markets three categories of espresso machines as well as filter coffee makers such as the Coffee Press Preziosa. In addition, Bialetti also prepares several types of coffee: ground and capsule, prepared in Italy. The latter is designed to be as close as possible to the habits and tastes of Italian coffee, whether in the style of a coffee from the north of Italy or from the south via Venice, Rome or Milan, their recyclable aluminum capsules will take you to the four corners of Italy.
