Devi Design is an Indian design studio that works with designers and skilled craftsmen to create products that compliment today's contemporary settings. It has a vision that encourages innovative design and a modern aesthetic, based on Indian traditions and crafts. The philosophy of the Devi group is about living with history. Its about keeping an awareness of our past while looking towards the future. Each product is detailed by designers and master pattern makers who meticulously translate them into templates for sand casting. We work with skilled craftsmen to develop hand hammered sheet metal product. We also explore other crafts of India like metal inlay in wood, stone and semi precious items. The products we create go beyond the mere utilitarian ? they capture ones imagination through a sense of timelessness.
