Colonel was born of the encounter between Isabelle Gilles and Yann Poncelet around the famous cocktail at base of Vermouth and ice with lime, in 2010. Their desire is first to draw a fresh and contemporary collection, then find partners craftsmen so that it exists. Their interest in the creation and traditional craft techniques quickly lead them to Colonel a publishing house of furniture and objects, while working in parallel on Interior fittings. These parts are then produced in small series, allowing them to easily evolve their designs and to vary finishes in collaboration with different French craftsmen: cabinetmaker, abat-jouriste, upholsterer, ferronier...
