Artist painter by training, Micheline Lettry is installed at Arles since 1995. Fascinated by shapes and colors, all objects are shaped, created, manufactured and tinted in the mass. Then comes the application of wax or varnish according to their use. Each piece is meticulously worked, in compliance with a constantly repeated know-how. Various decorative objects are available such as picture frames, candle holders, knife holders, decorative to hang or ask cicadas. The collection of decorative objects is made of plaster tinted in the mass and then waxed to give a nice effect of patina (frames, sconces, light fixtures) of other objects such as knife holders are tinted in the mass and then varnish. Micheline Lettry also carries a collection of objects (cicadas, toros, frames) meticulously decorated in gold leaf. Each creation of this collection is a unique piece.
